On 11 December 2018, the first LuxCube Satellite Seminar took place on Kirchberg campus to exchange on satellite development and operations topics. Dr. Hubert Moser, Head of Microsatellite Solutions at Luxspace, talked about the roles of satellites in space, its technical challenges and presented the past and ongoing microsatellite projects at Luxspace. Matteo Aquilano, Flight Dynamics Engineer at SES, share his experience about satellite flight dynamics and orbit determination. Edoardo Cocci, ADCS & Propulsion engineer at SES, focused his talk on satellite attitude determination, control and propulsion. LuxCube Satellite Seminars are aimed to provide a space for the UL students, and any interested person, to exchange and learn on satellite technology from experts of the industry and academia.
